Refund & Cancellation Policy

This Refund and Cancellation Policy applies to all tickets purchased for SpaFest, organised by Made for Life Foundation.

By purchasing a ticket, you agree to the terms outlined below.

Ticket Purchases

All SpaFest tickets are sold for a specific event date and location.

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, tickets for events held on a specific date are exempt from the standard 14-day cancellation right that normally applies to online purchases.

This means that tickets are generally non-refundable once purchased, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Delegate Cancellation

If you are unable to attend SpaFest:

Ticket Transfers

Tickets may be transferred to another attendee at no additional cost.

To request a transfer, please contact: hello@madeforlifefoundation.org

Requests should include:

  • Original booking name
  • New attendee name
  • Updated contact details

Transfer requests must be submitted at least 7 days before the event where possible.

Because SpaFest involves venue commitments, catering arrangements and limited capacity workshops, we encourage ticket holders who cannot attend to transfer their place to a colleague or friend.

Event Cancellation by the Organiser

If SpaFest is cancelled by Made for Life Foundation due to circumstances within our control:

  • Ticket holders will be offered a full refund, or
  • The option to transfer tickets to a rescheduled event

Refunds will be processed using the original payment method where possible.

Event Changes

The organisers reserve the right to make reasonable changes to:

  • Speakers
  • Workshop leaders
  • Programme schedules
  • Activities
  • Venue arrangements

These changes do not entitle ticket holders to a refund, provided the event still takes place as advertised.

Force Majeure

In the event that SpaFest cannot proceed due to circumstances beyond the organiser’s control, including but not limited to:

  • Extreme weather
  • Government restrictions
  • Public health emergencies
  • Venue closure
  • Industrial action
  • Natural disasters

Made for Life Foundation reserves the right to:

  • Reschedule the event, or
  • Offer ticket transfers to a future event

Refunds may not be guaranteed in these circumstances, but we will always aim to provide fair and reasonable solutions for ticket holders.

Non-Attendance

Failure to attend the event does not entitle the ticket holder to a refund.

However, ticket transfers may still be permitted where practical.

Refund Processing

Where refunds are issued:

  • Refunds will be processed within 14 days of confirmation.
  • Refunds will be returned via the original payment method where possible.
