Habia endorsed

Habia is recognised by Government as the Standard Setting Body (SSB) for the hair, beauty, nails, spa, aesthetics, and wellness sectors. Our main focus is standards, education, excellence, and careers.

For more than thirty years we have developed national standards that form the basis of qualifications across the UK. We work with Expert Working Groups (EWG) comprised of sector specialists to develop National Occupational Standards (NOS).

It can be very confusing when individuals undertake research to find a high-quality training provider, we aim to make this easier by endorsing organisations that offer high-quality short Continuous Professional Development (CPD) courses and brand training. For organisations that offer Ofqual regulated qualifications, we have our Habia Approved Training Provider status.

The Habia logo is a long-established, well-recognised sign of high-quality standards, excellence, and professionalism.

SATCC approved

The SATCC is dedicated to setting the gold standard for oncology in the spa and wellness industry, bringing training providers together to make sure we’re delivering the best possible support to one another and to our clients.

It was the most relaxing massage session I have ever experienced. The massage was gentle but deeply relaxing and the products used enhanced the whole process beyond my expectations. Afterwards, I felt so well and having suffered from insomnia due to the chemo regime I am on, I slept so well and was still feeling the effects the next day. I can highly recommend this massage, in fact I have already booked another Cancer Touch Therapy session at my local spa.

DK, Cornwall

The Hand On Heart (is), an absolutely blissful hour of floating away into a pain free space, the touch so soothing and gentle you can’t help but breathe slowly and deeply and relax and fall into a meditative state. The aromas are sublime and transport you into a space of deep relaxation. My skin and scalp (which has been battered by intensive radiotherapy) felt like velvet to touch afterwards and I felt as though I was glowing with an inner radiance from the combination of the aromas and relaxation.

AS, County Durham

Emma’s training gave informed knowledge and confidence to offer cancer touch therapy to clients.
It filled in the gaps in my knowledge and was delivered clearly and concisely by the lovely Emma. Everything made sense and the content was just what I had hoped for and more. The products are divine and enable a sensitive and carefully curated touch for our clients, they are a pleasure to work with. The upshot was I had the opportunity to practice all of the above on a close friend with cancer, who loved the products and massage techniques.

Diane Rowe, Tutor, Bath College

I love the company, its philosophy, its people and of course the products! Emma brought everything to life during the training. Her passion, love of the company all came through and she delivered a brilliant course!

Joanne Cooper, Jo Cooper Wellness, Spain

Just wanted to let you know I am buzzing from doing the course. It was so informative and well presented. It feels like everything has come together for me. For a long time, I have wanted to do something where my counselling skills and therapy skills came together. They kind of do with my reflexology clients however to be able to do Cancer Touch therapy with people who need touch, relaxation and also a deep empathy and understanding is exactly what I have been looking for. So, thank you for the amazing training!
